Does my file leave my device?
No. Images are pulled out of your PDF right inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
What do I get back?
Each embedded image is saved as a PNG. If the PDF has more than one image, they are bundled into a single zip file.
Why are some images missing?
This tool extracts images that are embedded as picture objects. Vector graphics, backgrounds drawn as shapes, and a few uncommon image formats may not come through.
Will it extract text too?
No. For text use the PDF to Text tool. This one is only for embedded pictures.
