FAQs about Crop PDF
Are my files uploaded to crop a PDF?
No. The cropping is applied inside your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, so your document never leaves your computer while you work.
How do the margins work?
You set how much to trim from each edge in points, where seventy two points is one inch. The same trim is applied to every page, shrinking the visible area.
Is the content deleted?
No. Cropping changes the visible page box, so trimmed areas are hidden rather than erased. The underlying content stays in the file and quality is unchanged.
What is a point?
A point is a print unit equal to one seventy second of an inch. So entering seventy two trims one inch, and thirty six trims half an inch from that side.
